Shipping policy

At Abundance Solar, we partner with select manufacturers and maintain localized warehouse inventory to deliver specialized plug-in solar equipment directly to your doorstep or job site.

1. Order Processing & Multiple Shipments Because our plug-in solar kits feature heavy-duty commercial equipment, components within a single order may ship directly from different manufacturer warehouses or fulfillment hubs.

  • Split Deliveries: Items in your order may arrive on different days and via different shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, or freight ground carriers).

  • Tracking Updates: You will receive separate tracking numbers via email for each package or freight shipment as soon as it leaves the fulfillment facility.

2. Freight Shipping (Solar Panels Over 400W) Kits containing solar panels over 400W ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight due to their size and weight.

  • Delivery Scheduling: The freight carrier will call you to schedule a mandatory delivery appointment. Someone must be present to inspect and sign for the delivery.

  • Delivery Requirements: Freight shipments are delivered curb-side. Please ensure your delivery location is accessible to standard commercial freight trucks.

  • Inspection Upon Arrival: Inspect all freight pallets and panel cartons for visible transit damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Note any damage directly on the carrier’s paperwork.

3. Free Warehouse Pick-Up (Will Call - Salt Lake City, UT) We offer free local warehouse pickup for available items, including microinverters and solar panels over 400W.

  • Hours of Operation:
    Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST)

  • How Will Call Works:

    1. Select "Local Pickup / Will Call" at checkout.

    2. Wait for a "Ready for Pickup" confirmation email before traveling to the warehouse.

    3. Bring your order confirmation email and a valid government-issued ID upon arrival.

    4. Ensure your vehicle is properly sized to transport large, heavy freight items (such as full-size solar panels).

4. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates Shipping rates are calculated dynamically at checkout based on item weight, dimensions, destination, and selected delivery method. Standard ground parcels typically arrive within 3–7 business days, while freight items take approximately 5–10 business days depending on destination.
